2018 Surfers Paradise Fest-Evil

Surfers Paradise Fest-Evil

The living dead will descend on Surfers Paradise in October for the spookiest celebration of the year!

Surfers Paradise Fest-Evil is a new three-day Halloween inspired event bringing with it a graveyard full of fun activities for all ages. From face painting to horror make up workshops, spontaneous ‘freak show’ dance routines, costume competitions, games and 18+ ‘after hours’ events, this is a nightmare you won’t want to forget!

The weekend will culminate with the official Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk, attracting thousands of zombies, ghosts and ghouls to stagger through the streets of Surfers Paradise. Formerly held in Brisbane and a notoriously popular event in Melbourne and Sydney, the Zombie Walk will be a truly unique and spooky spectacle.

Surfers Paradise Fest-Evil will have package options available and will encompass an assortment of free and ticketed events. Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk is a ticketed event that participants must register and pay for.

Each year Zombie Walks are held in several cities and towns around Australia. We are proud to be supporting the Brain Foundation in 2018 with the inaugural Zombie Walk in Surfers Paradise. In 2016, the Brisbane Zombie Walk raised over $35,000 for the Brain Foundation and had over 18,000 participants. The Brain Foundation is a nationally registered charity dedicated to funding world-class research Australia-Wide into neurological disorders, brain disease and brain injuries.

Get all the ghoulish updates on this page! More to be announced soon!
