We are lucky in the Brisbane City SES to be tasked

We are lucky in the Brisbane City SES to be tasked to many events throughout the year, but none are as special as ANZAC Day.

Tasked as a radio operator for today’s parade, I relayed messages between Field Command & our members in the field, who joined with other community services to ensure the safety of the crowds enjoying the day.
Learned a lot, and was great to see friends from across the city. Am proud to stand beside such hardworking and dedicated people on such a sacred day.
